Playful appearance

Hello, my name is Kurt and I am a passionate car enthusiast with a particular fondness for the iconic Fiat 500. My adventure with this charming little car began several years ago when I first bought a Fiat to freshen it up a bit. I quickly fell in love with the Fiat 500. Its playful appearance and retro design immediately appealed to me, and since then I have acquired a 1971 Luso and am restoring a 1966 D.

Simple mechanics

Technically, there are many positive aspects to the Fiat 500. Its compact size makes it a fantastic city car, which is also very manoeuvrable. The simple mechanics mean that as an owner you can do a lot yourself, which is not only fun but also cost-effective. In addition, fuel efficiency is a big plus; you can cover a considerable distance on a full tank without worrying about the cost.

Freedom

Every time I get into my Fiat 500 and hear the engine purr, it puts a smile on my face. It’s not just the nostalgia of driving a classic car, but also the freedom it brings. The attention you get while driving, the conversations you have with strangers who compliment you, and the feeling of camaraderie with other Fiat enthusiasts are priceless.

Professionalism

As for maintenance and modifications, I have done several projects on my Fiat 500s myself, refurbishing the interior and painting the bodywork. I mainly buy my parts online from Fiat van der Laan. I felt like an Italian

A nice anecdote I would like to share is the first trip I took with my first Fiat 500 to the hills. It was a beautiful summer day, and as we wound our way along the roads, I felt like an Italian.
